Fun Gifts for Teachers
Teachers have difficult and important jobs, and most do not make too much money in return for what they do. Many people enjoy giving their own teacher or their child's teacher a gift around the holidays or at the end of the school year. Consider choosing a gift that the teacher can really have fun with, rather than a typical teacher gift.

Art Supplies
-
Because school budgets are often restricted, there might not be room in the budget for art supplies. Purchase something for the teacher's classroom that she can use to have fun with her students. For example, select a few art easels so that her students can take turns painting pictures. You could also choose paints, glue sticks, scissors, construction paper and other art supplies items for the classroom.
Animal Gift
-
Maybe the teacher has an animal that he loves. Consider choosing a gift for the animal. For example, choose a new leash and collar set or a collapsible water bowl if the teacher likes going hiking with his dog. You could also choose a ceramic jar that the teacher can put the dog's treats in.

Personalized Kitchen Towels
-
When the teacher teaches young children, consider helping your child create kitchen towels for the teacher. Choose a set of kitchen towels and paints that are safe for fabric. Then, let your child decorate the kitchen towels with his hand prints or other designs. Your child can also write the teacher's name or initials onto the towels. That way, she will have something that reminds her of her students when she is at home.
Gift Card
-
Give the teacher a gift card that he can have fun with. For example, choose a gift card to a nearby amusement park or water park. You could also give the teacher a gift card to a store that sells items that complements one of his hobbies, such as hiking, golfing or cooking. A gift card to a local restaurant can help him have a fun night out with his friends.
