    • Savannah College of Art and Design, located in Savannah, Georgia, offers students the option of a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Arts degree in art history. The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is a 4-year program that begins with foundation-year studio art courses and caps off with an intensive study of art history and general education studies. The Master of Arts program is a 2-year thesis program with a required field-related or teaching internship as a part of the curriculum.

    Wesleyan College

    • Founded in 1836, Wesleyan College, an all-girls school located in Macon, Georgia, offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in art history. Wesleyan College requires lectures, seminars and studio courses for all students in their art history degree program in an attempt to nurture the analytical and critical skills required to pursue art history professionally.     LaGrange College

The Mercer University College of Liberal Arts offers Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees with a focus on art history as a 4-year undergraduate program. The university requires students to take general education courses, including one introductory course to the Old or New Testament -- part of the school's Baptist tradition -- as well as studio art courses in addition to art history courses to qualify for the degree.
