Birmingham Botanical Gardens is the largest living museum in Alabama, covering 67.5 acres of gardens, outdoor sculptures and pathways. Visitors can tour the wildflower and rose gardens, Southern Living garden and a Japanese garden with traditional tea house. Weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners and bridesmaids' teas are held in The Gardens Cafe. Seasonal menus are inspired by local greens and produce. Several wedding ceremony locations are available, including the Aldridge House and patio which accommodates up to 150 guests. Ceremonies in the open-aired Pavilion seat up to 200 guests, and intimate garden ceremonies take place throughout the property with a backdrop of hydrangeas, azaleas and seasonal plants and shrubs. Lakeside and Creekside ceremonies are also available. Venue rental includes both round and rectangular tables and folding chairs.
