Recommendations
-
Always thoroughly clean the floor before laying your vinyl tile. Vacuum up debris and thoroughly mop the floor with soap and water. Let the subfloor fully dry before you lay your vinyl flooring. If necessary, use a fan to blow dry the area.
Line up each tile with the one above and beside it, and press it into place with your hands. Lining up tiles keeps them from moving up or down or side to side, because this could cause them to buckle over time. After you lay your entire floor, go over it with a tile roller, which has a heavy weight on the bottom. This tool removes air bubbles and helps the vinyl adhere to the subfloor.
