American Culinary Federation Scholarships

The American Culinary Federation is a professional organization dedicated to the advancement of cooks and chefs and the education of young culinary artists. As part of its mission, the ACF awards several scholarships on an annual basis. While some ACF scholarships are available nationally, others are limited to students attending a specific institution.

  1. ACF High School Student Scholarship

    • The American Culinary Federation offers scholarships to high school students in varying amounts depending on the estimated financial need of the recipient. To be eligible, an applicant must be a high school senior at the time of application, and must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 on a scale of 4.0. Preferential consideration will be given to students who have been involved in ACF-related activities. The annual deadline for application is March 31.

    ACF College Student Scholarship

    • The American Culinary Federation also offers general scholarships to U.S. students currently pursuing a college degree in culinary or pastry arts. To be eligible, an applicant must have already completed one semester or quarter and must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 on a scale of 4.0. Preferential consideration is given to students who have been involved in ACF-related activities. The annual deadlines for application is fall on May 1 and September 1.

    ACF Baltimore International College Scholarship

    • The ACF provides scholarship support to students enrolled in the culinary or pastry arts program at Baltimore International College through the ACF Baltimore International College Scholarship. This scholarship is valued at $2,500 per year for four years. To be eligible, an applicant must be a graduating high school senior at the time of application, must be accepted for enrollment at Baltimore International College, and must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.5 or better. The annual deadline for application is March 31.

    ACF Johnson & Wales University Scholarship

    • The ACF Johnson & Wales University Scholarship provides annual scholarship support to students attending Johnson & Wales University and pursuing a degree in pastry arts or culinary arts. This award is valued at up to $2,500 each year for up to four years. To be eligible, an applicant must be a graduating high school senior at the time of application, must be accepted for enrollment at Johnson & Wales University, and must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.5 or better. The annual deadline for application is December 1.
