Cut a strip of yellow paper the width of the beaker's bottom and one or two inches longer in length. Tuck in this strip of paper to form the bottom of basket and tape on the inside of the basket after removing from beaker. Add a handle of one-inch wide yellow construction paper. Create a simple Easter basket from the bottom of a plastic soda bottle. Have an adult cut the top off of a 2-liter plastic bottle leaving the bottom 3 1/2 inches to form the body of the basket. Help the child place painter's tape or colored masking tape over the top edge of the basket. Glue a 14-inch piece of brightly colored ribbon around the circumference of the basket, placing it near the top of the bottle or just below the tape. Help the child cut out egg shapes from different colors of self-stick craft foam and adhere them to the inside of the Easter basket. Let the child hold a hole punch with an adult's assistance and punch a hole across from each other about an inch down from the lip of the basket. Loop one end of a pipe cleaner around a hole and fasten the end by twisting a loop over the basket edge. Repeat the loop on the other side of the basket.
