Group photos make excellent collage additions.

As students graduate from high school, college or graduate school many people like to make a photo collage of the experience they had while attending that school. The collage can serve as a visual reminder for many of the experiences you had while being a student. These collages can then be displayed at graduation parties or even copied and given as gifts to friends.

  1. Baby to Present

    • One thing parents and relatives are always good for are pulling out the baby pictures at the most inopportune time. A graduation party shouldn't be any different. Create a collage that details one picture from each year of life starting when the graduate was just a baby. These images can be pasted or placed on one large collage, or you can create a table collage where the pictures are laid out next to one another. These images can be a collection of shots with your family, attending school or participating in events.

    School Picture

    • School pictures are often posed shots of the student sitting. While not always the most visually stunning, they do serve to show how you grew through the years. Also, because the images will be posed in a similar manner, you will be able to see subtle changes through the years that add up to the adult your child has become today. These images can be arranged in order, or you can mix them up.

    Sports

    • If the graduate was a big athlete through the years, you can create a collage of the various school sports he played. You can create the collage of just one sport, or make the collage of all of the sports he played.

    Class Trip

    • Many times schools will take class trips throughout the country or even the world. For instance if your graduate spent a couple of weeks in France with her French class, create a collage using those images. (Just be sure to ask her for permission before going through her photos.) To expand the concept, you can make the collage of all of the class trips she took over the years. This might include her first grade trip to a museum, a sixth grade trip to a school science camp and the French trip all in one.
