Gifts From Groom to Groomsmen

Give your groomsman a gift to thank them for being a part of your day.

As a groom, it is considered a nice gesture to give a gift to each groomsman as a thank you for participating in your wedding. As a general rule of thumb, either give everyone the same thing but make it a nice gift or, if you are on a budget, personalize the gift to fit each groomsman.

Jewelry

Jewelry such as cuff links or a watch for your groomsmen is a great gift. You can have the cuff links monogrammed. A nice watch is also a good way to show your groomsmen how much you appreciate them being a part of your special day.

Gift Certificate

Present each groomsman with a gift certificate to his favorite restaurant. Be sure to get the certificate in an amount that could allow him to take a date as well. As a twist on a traditional restaurant gift certificate, purchase stock in a company in the name of each groomsman and present the stock certificate in a frame. You could give them stock that helps a portfolio but you can also add a bit of fun to it by purchasing stock in a company whose products have meaning for you and your friends. This may limit the amount you can purchase but the sentiment will still be there.

Alcohol

Give your groomsmen a case of wine as a gift to honor them for being a part of your wedding day. Choose a wine that is a favorite of each groomsman. You can personalize the wine if you want with special labels. If wine isn't a favorite among you and your groomsmen, buy each of them a nice bottle of whisky. As an added perk, you could buy an extra bottle and enjoy a drink (just one) before the ceremony begins with your groomsmen.

Tickets

Buy your groomsmen tickets to an upcoming concert, a favorite sporting event, or an outdoor adventure like white water rafting. To make it more meaningful, let each guy know that you bought the tickets for the two of you. It can help assure your friends that you still want to be a part of their lives even while you move into this next chapter of your life.
