College Station, Texas, is home of Texas A&M University, one of the largest universities in the state. This college town also has a vibrant nightlife scene in the Northgate section of the city, within five minutes of Texas A&M's campus. To accommodate the university's students, nearly all of the College Station nightclubs allow 18-year-olds to enter; however, patrons under 21 may not drink and will be stamped upon entry. College Station nightclubs provide dance floors and live music.

Rockies Nightclub

Rockies is in eastern College Station, right off the Ruddler Freeway; the club is less than five minutes from Texas A&M University. This nightclub offers dancing on Friday and Saturday nights, while karaoke entertainment is available on Sundays and Tuesdays through Thursdays; the bar is closed on Mondays. A stage is available for live music entertainment. Rockies does not have a cover charge except on late Friday and Saturday nights. The nightclub's age limit is 18.

Hurricane Harry's

Located on College Avenue, Hurricane Harry's is a five-minute walk from the Bonfire Memorial on the Texas A&M Campus; this memorial is the site of the annual bonfire for the Texas A&M/Texas football rivalry game. Hurricane Harry's features live music concerts throughout the year from local and regional artists. Drink specials include $3 liquors–such as hurricanes and crown and yagers–and $2.50 longneck beers. The age limit is 21 for this bar, except on Thursdays, when Texas A&M college students 18 years or older may enter until 10 p.m.

Fitzwilly's Bar and Grille

Fitzwilly's Bar and Grille is across the street from Texas A&M's campus on University Drive. This bar hosts events throughout the week, including team trivia on Tuesday nights and Wednesday night dart league games. The bar's kitchen serves pub-fare items, including the ooey-gooey, two beef patties with melted cheese, buffalo chicken tacos and chicken wings. Fitzwilly's “Burn Both Ways Wing Challenge” features chicken wings with the restaurant's special sauce; if the patron eats this within five minutes, it's free. Live music is available on Thursday through Saturday nights. After 7:30 p.m., all patrons must be at least 18 years old.

Daisy Duke's

The western-themed Daisy Duke's nightclub is on University Drive, within five minutes of Texas A&M. The nightclub is in the Old Campus Theater Building and features the Pussycat Lounge in the mezzanine level of the building; this lounge offers a view of the dance floor and bar area on the building's ground level. The bar is open on Thursday through Sunday Nights from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., as of February 2011. All patrons must be at least 18 years of age.

Hookah Station

The Hookah Station in College Station's Northgate area is on College Main, a five-minute walk from the Texas A&M campus. This two-story nightclub provides opportunities for hookah smoking in an vibrant atmosphere; the bar has Asian-style décor with bright colors lighting up the room. Hookah smoke flavors include banana split, mad mango, tequila sunrise and pina colada. This club also features a dance floor with full-service bar. All patrons must be at least 18 years old. The nightclub is open on Tuesdays through Sundays.
