Place Setting
-
Place setting is the first class for children when it comes to proper manners. As the title of the lesson suggests, place setting teaches young kids to set the table. Kids will learn all about proper table setting including how to align specific spoon and fork types and where to place a napkin.
Use of Each Utensil
-
The next class taught in most etiquette schools is how to use each utensil and what they are on the table for. For example, most children do not know the difference between a salad fork and a dessert fork. This class teaches them the difference between those two forks as well as the difference between other utensils such as spoon and glass types.

Dining Tips
-
The third class enforces dining tips, or how to eat certain foods. In this class, children will learn what utensils to use and how to properly eat different foods. For example, kids will learn how to use both their dinner fork and soup spoon to consume spaghetti. Spaghetti is not the only food requiring manner skills. Almost all foods are consumed a certain way and through this class, children will learn them all.
Table Manners
-
The final class taught by etiquette schools is the art of table manners. In this class, children learn how to properly use napkins, what to wear to a formal dinner, where to place elbows and what not to do at the table. Kids are taught all the necessary manner skills that they desperately need to succeed at the dinner table.
