Donating Old Computers in Chicago
Placing old or unwanted computers in landfills is legal in Chicago, but many companies and nonprofit organizations are working to fight this wasteful practice. Most computer recycling programs in and around Chicago are free and easy to find for those wanting to donate their computer and computer-related items in an environmentally beneficial way.
