Microwave Odor Removal
Food cooking in a microwave constantly bubbles and pops. This food eventually coats the inside of the microwave. In order to clean your microwave, you will need to remove the food residue. White Vinegar

White vinegar is a natural disinfectant that also neutralizes odors. To use it to remove odors from the inside of your microwave, fill a spray bottle with white vinegar and spray it over the inside and outside of the microwave. Let the white vinegar sit for at least 10 minutes and scrub it completely. Rinse the microwave with clear water and dry it completely with a clean cloth.
Baking Soda

Baking soda is another natural odor neutralizer. The baking soda will actually absorb the odors from the surface of the microwave. To use it, sprinkle baking soda over the inside of the microwave. Mix a paste of baking soda and water and spread the paste over the walls and roof of the microwave. Let the baking soda sit at least several hours before wiping it up.

Zeolite is another natural odor remover. Zeolite is a crystal that you can spread over the inside of your microwave. Let the crystals sit for several hours until the odor is gone. Zeolite is a reusable odor remover. To refresh the Zeolite, place it in the sun for at least 30 minutes.
Charcoal

Activated charcoal will absorb odors from the air. Place the activated charcoal into a bowl and place the bowl in the microwave for several hours or until the odors are no longer present. Don't use charcoal that contains lighter fluid and keep it away from your microwave walls because it can make a sooty mess.
