Play games with the guests to highten the mood of the party.

Host a Pampered Chef bridal shower for the new bride-to-be and include games centered around the theme. Pampered Chef, founded in 1980, offers kitchen tools, food items and speciality items that are sold through independent consultants. The bride will register for items to receive at her shower. Create entertaining games for the guests that are centered around cooking and kitchen advice.

  1. Kitchen Advice

    • Print the pictures of the items the bride has registered for and tape or glue them onto note cards. Print enough pictures for each guest to have a note card; it is OK if there if more than one person has the same picture. Go around the room and have each guest tell you one use for the picture they have. No answer is off limits. The point is for guests to think outside the box and offer funny advice for the bride. Award a prize to the guest with the best answer.

    Apron and Recipe Book

    • Purchase a Pampered Chef apron and recipe book for the bride. As the guests arrive have them sign the apron. During the party give each guest a recipe card and pen. Go around the room have each guest give the bride cooking advice. After their turn, each guest can either write a favorite recipe or the advice on the recipe card. Insert the cards into the book and present the bride with the book and apron. The bride picks the best advice and a gift is given to the guest.

    Sniff the Spices

    • Before the party, gather 10 different Pampered Chef spices and cover the labels so guests cannot see the name of the spices. During the party, give each guest a piece of paper and a pen. Pass the spices around the room and let each guest smell them. They are not allowed to touch or taste the spice. Have them record their answers on the paper. The guest with the most correct answers receives a prize.

    Cooking Mitt Race

    • Before the party, put a star on the bottom of three cake plates. After guests finish eating their cake, ask them to check the bottom of the plate and the ones with stars to come to the front of the room. Give the three guests two oven mitts each and a new, unopened box of pantyhose. Tell the guests they have to wear the mitts while they put the pantyhose on over their legs or clothing. The first one to put the pantyhose on will win. Let them know that is OK if the pantyhose rips. Award a prize to each guest for playing along.
