Parks
-
A local park is one place you can throw a party that will provide plenty of room to play and can be easy on your wallet, as some parks don't charge to host small gatherings. Look around at local parks in your area to see what they have to offer, and check with your city or county committee to see how you can go about reserving an area for a party. Set up some picnic tables or find a park that has some already and you can play lawn games and bring food for activities.
Theme Park
-
Theme parks are another fun place to throw a fete for your child. For these areas you might want to consider having a smaller party. Check with a local theme park to see what party packages they offer and many have party areas reserved for these situations. If you do plan to head to a local theme park, have other parental chaperones to help assist you in watching the kids, say one for every three children in attendance.

Bowling Alley
-
If your child loves bowling or maybe hasn't ever bowled and wants to try something new, have her party at a nearby bowling alley. You can reserve a few lanes ahead of time and see if the alley has a party area too. Many bowling alleys also have arcades, which can be an added bonus if your child loves video games.
Putt Putt and Go Karting
-
Putt putt and go-kart racing complexes offer kids a variety of activities to choose from based on games they enjoy. If the party is for younger children, however, these places might be too adult. For older children, always have parental consent before letting them do activities like go-kart racing. Check ahead to see if there are party packages such as racing wristbands or unlimited putt putt.
Skating Rink
-
Ice skating rinks are another popular party place for kid's parties and often they have party rooms or areas you can reserve. If your kid loves hockey, this is a fun idea, as you can host a hockey game between guests if you reserve the entire rink. Many rinks offer party packages and have DJs so kids can enjoy music as they skate.
