Wichita Falls, Texas, is home to two movie theaters. Both cinemas are multiplexes with stadium seating and several screens showcasing the latest movie releases. In addition to these cinemas, there are movie theaters in the nearby community of Lawton, Oklahoma. Lawton is approximately an hour's drive north of Wichita Falls.

  1. Cinemark Parker Square 14 - Wichita Falls

    • The 14-screen Cinemark movie theater is approximately 3 miles west of downtown Wichita Falls. The theater is located in the Parker Square Shopping Center, within a short walk of McDonald's, Starbucks, Taco Bell and Applebee's Neighborhood Grill. The movie theater features stadium seating and every Monday seniors receive discounted tickets. Active Duty Military personnel also receive discounted rates.

    Carmike Sikes 10 - Wichita Falls

    • South of downtown Wichita Falls is the Sikes Senter shopping mall, home to JCPenney, Dillard's and Sears. A 10-screen, fully digital movie theater is located on-site, along with approximately 80 shops. The mall is the central hub for the Wichita Falls Transit System, making it easy to get to from any part of the city, including Sheppard Air Force Base. There are about a dozen restaurants to chose from in the mall, including American Grill, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chinese Gourmet, and the On The Border Mexican Grill and Cantina.

    Showplex Central Mall 12 - Lawton

    • Approximately one hour from Wichita Falls is Lawton, Oklahoma. In the heart of the city, the Central Mall features nearly 90 shops and restaurants, including American Eagle Outfitters, Dillard's, JCPenny and Sears. The Central Mall 12 Theatres is located in shopping center. After viewing a film at the 12-screen cinema, moviegoers can dine at one of the mall's restaurants, including the El Chico Mexican Restaurant, Garfield's Restaurant and Pub and Nori Japan/Stir Fry 88.

    Carmike 8 - Lawton

    • Founded in 1901, Lawton is the third largest city in Oklahoma and a gateway to the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge, which is a short drive to the northwest of the city. The city's eight-screen Carmike Cinema is 6 miles west of downtown and approximately an hour's drive north of Wichita Falls. After screening the latest 3-D or 2-D movie release, patrons can walk to the nearby Outback Steakhouse or Taco Bell.
