Funny Valentine Gifts for My Boyfriend

Choose Valentine's Day gifts that are a little out of the ordinary.

When you are getting ready to celebrate Valentine's Day with your boyfriend, you may be dismayed by all the sweet and dramatic Valentine's Day presents that are out there. If you're known for having a sense of humor, and if your favorite thing to do with your sweetheart is laugh, choose a gift that will give you both a giggle. There are plenty of funny Valentine's Day presents out there that both provoke some laughter as well as allow you to show each other some affection.

Mixed CD

While a mixed CD is a traditional gift to offer a significant other (especially one that loves music), you can also have some fun by recording tracks yourself. Even if you aren't a great singer, record some of your favorite songs for your boyfriend. Tell some jokes or record an interview with a friend or family member where they talk about some funny moments they have shared with the two of you.

Kid's Valentine's Day

Go to a grocery store and pick up a box of kid's assorted Valentine's Day cards and write messages on each one of them. The messages can be a short and simple "I Love You" or more elaborate messages. Place each card into a paper bag decorated with your boyfriend's name and heart stickers. Present your significant other with this impromptu Valentine's Day mailbox by taping it to the door. Turn the tables on your boyfriend and buy him underwear for the day. You may choose to offer him boxers with hearts on them, or you can choose a silly print, like flying pigs or happy faces. For a homemade touch, buy a pair of plain boxers and decorate them yourself with fabric paint. Put your favorite jokes or sayings on them -- or little reminders about your own likes and dislikes.

Mad Libs

Create your own Valentine's Day mad libs by writing a short, romantic story that leaves out various verbs, nouns and adjectives. Then have your boyfriend give you words to fill in the blanks. Afterward, you can read the hilarious story that you wrote together. Frame the story in a border of red and pink and offer it to him as a silly valentine.
