Dietitians are professionals who focus on the science of both nutrition and diet. The focus of a dietitian is to encourage optimal health via good nutrition habits. For people who want to become dietitians, it is beneficial to complete a degree program in dietetics or nutrition. Several colleges around the nation offer these majors.

  1. Missouri State University

The school offers a dietetics program that heavily emphasizes science and aims to get students ready for careers as nutritionists and internships in dietetics.
