Romantic Ideas for Gift-Giving to a Boyfriend
If you want to give that special someone in your life a gift that demonstrates how much you appreciate him, consider an idea that's romantic and something the both of you can enjoy. Just a little thought and planning can provide you with the perfect gift.

Romantic Getaway
-
Take him to a favorite spot and pack a picnic lunch for two. This doesn't have to mean an expensive seven week cruise to the south of France. Plan for a small weekend getaway at a bed and breakfast, where you can spend more time in bed and less time at breakfast. If this idea is out of your price range, go for a day trip. Plan an entire day around the activities he enjoys. Perhaps watching a monster truck rally with his girlfriend is way more romantic than a cruise. Another less expensive option is to spend the day visiting one of his favorite childhood spots. Take him to the park where he and his dad used to play basketball. Pack a picnic lunch and prepare for a one-on-one game.
Sporting Event
-
This may not seem like a romantic gift for your boyfriend but he sure will appreciate it when you get him season tickets for his favorite team. If he's into hockey, take him to an ice hockey game where the two of you can snuggle up under a blanket in the cold stadium. After the game, take him home to warm him up even more with a cup of hot chocolate.

Dinner
-
Set up a romantic dinner for two. Surprise him by setting up a romantic dinner in his apartment. Light some candles, put on soft music and cook him a spectacular meal. If you're culinary challenged, have the dinner catered. Turn off the phones and make the evening all about him. If you prefer, make reservations at a restaurant. Take him to dinner where the two of you first met or where he first told you he loves you. Spend the evening reminiscing about your romantic history as well as looking into your future together.
Coupons
-
Skip the coupons to the local supermarket. Instead, create homemade "romantic" coupons. This may include "one massage" to be redeemed by Thursday. Make coupons to meet him for a romantic dinner or a picnic in the park. Place expiration dates on the coupons to be sure he redeems them. The coupons can be as innocent or naughty as you choose.
