  1. Bible Bingo

    • Bible Bingo is played like the traditional Bingo game, on a five-by-five card. Instead of numbers, fill in the squares using words about love from the Bible. Agape, unconditional, patient, kind and forgiving are just a few words that describe love in the Bible. As the words are called, players can mark their bingo cards with paper hearts. the first to get five squares horizontally, diagonally, or across covered, wins.

    Jesus Loves Me

    • This simple word game will inspire school-age children to form more words than their classmates using the letters from the line "Jesus Loves Me." Children can work alone or in partners, and they must make a list of words using only the letters in "Jesus Loves Me." They do not have to use all the letters, but you can add a fun twist to the game by giving double points for longer words or words that have to do with love or Valentine's Day.

    Word Games

    • Valentine word searches or crossword puzzles are fun games to play in church or during a time when children need a quieter activity. Find Christian Valentine word search and crossword puzzles online or create your own. Crossword puzzles using Bible verses about love will prove to be an exciting challenge for kids who are studying scripture. Use verses such as John 3:35 and Matthew 22:39. If you make your own word search, include words such as Jesus, gentle, patient, understanding and caring.

    Love Memory Game

    • Create a Christian Valentine Memory game with cut-out paper hearts in a light red or pink. Write a verse about love on each heart. Next, make a second set of hearts with the same verses, in the same color. Mix up the hearts and then place them face down on the floor or the table. Have the children work in teams to see which team can get the most pairs of Bible verses. Laminate the hearts or cover them in contact paper to keep them for years of use.
