Weird Places to Get Married
A wedding is a time of celebration and beginning a new journey. Some couples like the idea of having a traditional wedding with a church, cake and flowers. Other couples crave a more nontraditional experience. You can find many weird places to get married. However, you need to find an officiant who will perform your wedding vows before your intended ceremony.

Shark Tank
-
Atlantis Marine World of Long Island can provide you with a shark wedding adventure. Your ceremony takes place within a 120,000 gallon exhibit, states Atlantis. You don't need to have diving experience to get married in the exhibit. You do need to sign a liability waiver. Atlantis will provide wet suits, scuba gear and underwater breathing gear. Your wedding party can view your vows via the aquarium window, while listening to your voices broadcast through an intercom.
Drive-thru
-
A few venues in Las Vegas allow you to pull through a drive-thru to get married. You can get married in your own car, rent a limo or even get married on a motorcycle. If you intend to get married in a Las Vegas drive-thru, you must be 18, have identification such as a driver's license, your social security number and the fee for your marriage license. If you're under 18, you must have your guardian's consent and provide your birth certificate.

Funeral Home
-
Many funeral homes offer their facilities as a way of celebrating life. Though it may seem morbid, some couples have selected funeral homes for their weddings. A 2011 USA Today article states that couples marrying at a funeral home can save money and don't have to worry about availability for their marriage ceremony. A funeral home can also double for your wedding reception.
Roller Coaster
-
The Coney Island Cyclone, located in New York City, opened in 1927 and features an 85-foot plunge. It is the only remaining wooden roller coaster on the boardwalk. To book a wedding on the Cyclone, you need to plan one month in advance and, as of 2011, expect to spend up to $1,000, indicates New York Weddings. You exchange your vows prior to riding the roller coaster.
