Centerpiece Ideas for a Cinderella-Themed Wedding

The story of Cinderella is older than most people think. "The Egyptian Cinderella" is really an Egyptian tale, and one of the world's oldest Cinderella stories - recorded by the Roman historian Strabo in the first century B.C. The earliest version of the Cinderella story was called "The Girl with the Rose-Red Slippers." Adding a bit of historical fact to a popular fairytale such as Cinderella will make an interesting conversation piece during a wedding. Print and frame a summarized version of the early Egyptian Cinderella story, along with a decorative rose-red slipper as a centerpiece and it will create a memorable Cinderella-themed centerpiece for a wedding.

Pumpkin Carriage

Light up a pumpkin carriage for a centerpiece.

Use a real pumpkin and carve the insides out to place a tea light candle inside for an elegant Cinderella-themed centerpiece. Add wheels from a craft store for a pumpkin carriage look. Purchase ceramic or glass pumpkins with an opening in the center to fill with rose petals, glass rocks or tea light candles.

Go to a pottery making store or craft shop and decorate your own castles with colorful paint and glitter. Find a glass or ceramic high heel shoe and place a tea light candle inside. Use a wax candle in the shape of a single high heel shoe as the Cinderella-themed centerpiece. Find a Cinderella Fairy Godmother with wand or other similar doll and use as a centerpiece. Add mice and birds near the centerpiece.
