This exotic animal training school provides three types of courses for aspiring exotic animal trainers: a weekend course, an extended 14-day course and a private course. Throughout each training program, students will get to interact with exotic animals such as lions, tigers, panthers and bears. During the program students will meet and learn from Hollywood professionals who train animals for use in movies and television. This school also offers seminars on training and handling wild animals.

Cal Poly is affiliated with Moorpark College, and students from Moorpark can transfer to Cal Poly to complete their degree in exotic animal training and management. Students attending Houston Community College can take the Veterinary Paramedic course that will provide them with the knowledge of how to care for exotic animals. Students who take this program will take courses such as small zoo and wild mammals; large zoo and wild mammals; and shelter management. Students will also get to partake in a field practicum where they can get hands-on experience dealing with wild and exotic animals.
Moorpark College

Moorpark College offers courses in animal science, with a specific focus on nondomestic animals. Through their animal management courses, students will get the opportunity to work at the college's 9-acre zoo, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Throughout the program students will participate in on- and off-campus classes and events. Any student who takes this program can go on to complete a bachelor's degree in animal sciences by attending the California Polytechnic State University after two years of their program at Moorpark.
