Fun Homecoming Date Ideas
Homecoming is celebrated for one week during the fall at most high schools. It is a time when students can show their school spirit, attend a football game and then a dance at the end of the week. Many students choose to go out after the dance.

Dinner at a Restaurant
-
Take your date to a nice restaurant after the homecoming dance. There are a variety of restaurants you can choose from, including Italian, Mexican and Greek. Before the big day, ask your date's friends and parents about where she likes to eat. If your date enjoys playing arcade games, take her to a restaurant like Dave and Busters. Purchase tickets to play fun games, such as billiards and shuffle board.
Amusement Park
-
Go to an amusement park the day after the homecoming dance and spend the day riding rollercoasters and having fun. Wear comfortable clothes and avoid open-toed shoes. Always check the weather report a couple days before, so you will be sure to bring a rain coat if you need to. Bring a couple of sandwiches to eat at lunch or buy food at the park.
-
Watch a Movie at Home
-
If you are looking for an inexpensive way to impress your date, rent a couple of movies and watch them with her after the dance. Choose to rent a new release or classic, such as Gone with the Wind. Order a pizza and have snacks such as popcorn for you two to eat.
Go Bowling
-
Take your date to a local bowling alley. Lanes are always open late, so you don't have to worry if the dance goes for longer than you expected. It is okay if neither of you have bowled before because bowling is a carefree game that will involve a lot of laughter. Take a break in between each game to talk and get to know each other.
