Ohio State University offers a civil engineering undergraduate program. Upon completion of the program, the student will receive a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. This program includes courses in mathematics and science, as well as core civil engineering courses. The student may choose to specialize through his choice of electives. The range of choices includes transportation highways, structures and structural analysis, hydraulic engineering, geotechnical engineering, construction equipment methods and scheduling and remote sensing. The degree requires a minimum of 45 credit hours, with at least 25 hours in civil engineering courses. In order to graduate, the student must maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or better.
