Valley of Flowers Festival Pretty Baby Contest

Located in Florissant, the Valley of Flowers festival is held each year in early May. While the Valley of Flowers Queen's Court is reserved for older young ladies, the Pretty Baby contest is for those under two years of age. To enter this contest, you must send a 4 x 6 photograph of your child, with the child's name, address, phone number, age/birth date, and parents' names on the back. Send this with a $5 entry fee to the address found on the official website.
All photos are displayed at the local ice skating rink, and there is a popularity contest and a personality contest. Prizes and plaques are available to winners.
Sunburst Baby Pageant

The Sunburst International Star Search features a Missouri division that takes place each spring. The state finals are held at the Courtyard by Marriott in Blue Springs. You must mail in an entry form along with a photograph. For the baby competition, each baby goes onstage with a parent and is crowned either baby queen, baby king, tiny queen or tiny king, and then little queen and little king for toddlers aged 2 and 3. State competition fees are mandatory for the pageant. Sunburst also hosts a photo contest that includes such categories as prettiest smile, hair and eyes. The entry fee for the photo contest is $30.

Ballwin Pretty Baby Contest

Now going into its 31st year, the Pretty Baby Contest is put on by the town of Ballwin each summer. Winners receive a saving bond, a plaque, a stuffed animal and more. Photos need to be mailed in by mid-June to the address found on the official website. You must ensure the photo is 5 x 7 or smaller, and includes the child's name, address, phone number and age on the back of the picture.
Little Miss Precious Pageants of Missouri and Kansas

Starting at the age of four months, babies can be entered in Little Miss Precious pageants. The Precious Baby division awards a baby aged 0-23 months, while Precious Toddler Miss awards children 2 to 4 years old. Entry fees for this age group are $125, and a photo contest is also held each year for an entry fee of $10. Applications and entry guidelines can be found on their official website.
