Child Easter Basket Ideas
Easter baskets are a fun and creative holiday treat that the "Easter Bunny" gives our youth year after year. If you have more than one child, it can become increasingly difficult to help the Easter Bunny "wow" them each year with a new themed basket. There are many angles you can take with an Easter basket for your children that will allow you to be creative and cost-effective. Does this Spark an idea?

Hobby-Themed Baskets
-
Children often have a particular hobby that they are involved in, such as cooking, coloring/painting, gardening or sports. Instead of including strictly candy in the Easter basket, incorporate items used in your child's hobby to create the perfect basket.
Reusable Baskets
-
Create baskets that are reusable. Use any type of basket desired and wrap or cover with plain or themed cloth or wrapping paper. Fill it with goodies galore just as you would any other basket. This is cost-effective because you would only need to purchase or make the filling for the basket.

Color-Themed Baskets
-
This is a great idea for those with multiple children. Pick a color for each child and put all things that color into the designated basket. If you are using a yellow basket for one child, the contents would be yellow as well. Such contents could include; yellow pencils, lemon-flavored candy, yellow yo-yo's, a yellow flashlight, yellow nail polish and yellow glitter. This is a fun and challenging basket to make.
Traditional Baskets
-
If you have a family tradition of specific basket types and contents, it is always fun to pass that on. You can add to any tradition with your own personal twist.
