Get Well Gifts for Toddlers
Comfort a sick toddler with a cozy plush toy gift or activity set to get her mind off being sick. The fact that you care goes a long way and even a toddler will truly appreciate your thoughtfulness. Choose gifts that you know the child doesn't already have and select themed toys that represent what she loves like dinosaurs or kittens.

Miniature Backpack with Toys
-
Toddlers love carrying around miniature backpacks filled with treasures. Buy a monkey, Elmo or other type of themed pack. Fill it with crayons, coloring books, plush toys, activity sets and hand puppets. Bake a few muffins, put them in plastic zipper bags and include the treats in the pack as well. Animal puzzles and games also work well.
Gift Basket with Toys and Cookies
-
Buy a pink or blue gift basket for the child and line it with purple or yellow fabric. Tie a pink or blue bow around the handle as well. Bake a variety of colorful sugar cookies for the toddler and place these in packages, so that they remain fresh. Place a large plush lamb in the middle of the basket and put the cookies around the toy. Fill up empty space with other toys, books and games. Girls also like Barbie dolls and My Little Pony. A boy might also like Tonka trucks and dinosaur toys.

Teddy Bear with First Aid Play Set
-
A teddy bear with a first aid play set works really well as a get-well gift for a toddler. Choose a bear that you think the child will love like a ballerina bear, nurse bear or fire fighter bear. Some stores in certain malls even allow you to build a bear by picking out clothing and other accessories for each bear. Buy a plastic first aid set at another store and present both gifts to the child.
Pajamas with Matching Slipper Set
-
Buy pajamas with a matching slipper set for the child. A baby lamb, princess, pony or kitten print works well for a girl. Fire trucks, puppies, trains and other animals work well for a boy. Place the pajama set in a gift basket or wrap it up for the toddler. Make a small handmade card and slip it inside one of the slippers.
