Gifts for Very Special Girlfriends for Christmas
On Christmas, you want to show your girlfriend how much she means to you. Think impractical gifts. (No vacuum cleaners.) Know what she likes, use that as your starting point, and consider something romantic that she'll enjoy and treasure. Most women won't care what you spend, but will want to know you put some thought into your gift.

Jewelry
-
If you put some thought behind a gift of jewelry, you'll be able to purchase the perfect piece. Consider what types of jewelry she usually wears. Does she like silver or gold? Diamonds or rubies? Perhaps she prefers jewelry made by natives, or maybe jewelry that symbolizes her belief system. Ask yourself whether she prefers rings or necklaces, bracelets or earrings...and demonstrate that you pay attention by choosing something that reflects her personal style.
Photographs
-
Take a few photographs of you and your girlfriend and have them matted and framed by a professional, or do it yourself. Be sure the frames will match the decor of her home. Black and white photos in black frames with white mats provide and interesting look. Color photos in aged frames will also work. Digital photo frames are another option, as are photo albums. You may wish to place photographs of a recent trip you took together in the album.

Weekend Getaway
-
You may want to consider planning a special weekend getaway and wrap the tickets to present to your girlfriend on Christmas. If winter sports are among her favorite things to do, staying at a ski lodge or in a lakeside cabin are good options. A city girl may prefer a luxurious weekend at a nice hotel, complete with candlelight dinners, and girls who love shopping will love traveling to a quaint town to look for bargains.
Couples Day
-
Another option is to present her with a coupon book that includes gift certificates from the places where she gets her hair and nails done, goes for a massage and likes to eat out. You may also want to add some homemade coupons for things like a back rub, or one she'll be able to "cash in" by having you do her least favorite chore.
