Garden Wedding Hairstyles
A wedding celebrated in a garden calls for a romantic hairstyle to match. Feel free to adorn your hair with greenery and flowers found in the garden or artificial flowers for a more durable look. When selecting your hairstyle, look for elegant styles that are also gentle and in some form evocative of nature. Does this Spark an idea?

Half Up with Waves
-
If your hair is shoulder-length or longer, consider wearing it in a half-up style. Use a curling iron to add gentle waves to your hair for a relaxed but still beautiful look. You can either brush your hair back over your scalp and gather it into a half ponytail or keep your hair parted and gather it into a half ponytail. Decorate your hairstyle with sparkling bobby pins on either side, and adorn the ponytail with a floral barrette. If your hair is shorter in the front, leave two tendrils on either side free. Use a curling iron to curl the tendrils into ringlets or waves. Spritz your hair with hairspray to hold the waves and the style.
Floral Updo
-
Long hair will look lovely caught in a sweeping updo. Gather your hair into a high ponytail, then wrap it into a bun and secure it in place with an elastic and bobby pins. Ensure that your hair is smooth and bump-free in the front. Control any fly-aways or strays with more bobby pins and a spritz of hairspray. Secure a floral barrette in the side of the bun; try to use a flower that coordinates with your wedding flowers. To use a fresh flower, weave the stem into your bun. Spray the flower with hairspray to keep it from wilting.

Braided Crown
-
A garden wedding is considerably more casual than a wedding held in a church or other formal hall. A braided style will match the casual nature of the wedding, as well as give you a relaxed, hippie look. Braid a section of your hair close to the front of your head, then wrap the length of the braid over your scalp. Pin the end of the braid in place just behind your ear. You can also French braid two small sections of hair on each side of your head. Gather the ends of the braids with the rest of your hair and twist the mass into a bun. Secure the bun in place with elastic.
Floral Short Hair
-
Even if your hair is short, you can still make it pretty for your wedding. Comb it neatly, or use a round brush to add volume. Gather chin-length hair up with pins or simply let a pixie-length haircut sit against your scalp. Alternatively, keep your chin-length hair down and run a curling iron through it to create some waves. Pin a large flower to the side of your head and spritz the flower with hairspray to keep it from wilting.
