Wedding Photo Guest Book Ideas
Most weddings have guest books, where your guests can sign their names and leave a short message of luck. The basic guest book has been the same idea for years. To make your wedding guest book more interesting and unique, use a photo guest book. There are a few different ways you can do this, and each one will give you another item to remember your wedding by.
-
Bound Photo Guest Book
-
There are a number of photo retailers and online providers that offer the ability to design your own book and have it printed. These books can come in hard or soft cover, and the hard cover books include a dust cover. Design the pages inside with pictures of the bride and groom from different times of their lives. On each page have one or two pictures, and leave the rest of the page blank for people to sign.
Guest Self Portraits
-
Leave a disposable or Polaroid camera at the table, with blank letter sized paper and a marker. Encourage your guests to write a quick message on the paper then have them take a self portrait using the disposable or Polaroid camera showing them and the message they wrote. Once the pictures are processed place them in an album. If you are using a Polaroid camera, leave a marker for your guests to sign the bottom white portion of the picture.

Scrapbook
-
Design pages that contain empty borders where pictures will go in and leave the rest of the page blank. Have guests sign the blank portion of the pages, and instruct them you will be adding candid pictures from the wedding and reception to complete the book. You can also title pages so family signs in one area, co-workers sign another page and your friends have their own section.
Empty Photo Mats
-
Leave a number of white 8-by-10 inch photo mats at the sign-in table with fine tip markers. Encourage your guests to sign the mats, and let them know you will be matting pictures from the wedding and putting them into an album.
