Susan G. Komen Twin Cities Race for the Cure

Susan G. Komen for the Cure is an organization that is working to raise money to save lives and find a cure for breast cancer. Race for the Cure is the largest fundraiser in the world for breast cancer, with races including an outside 5K wheelchair race, outside 5K walk and an inside 1K walk. Minnesota's affiliate, who has raised around $30 million for breast cancer screening, outreach, education, awareness, treatment and research, will be holding its annual race on Mother's Day starting at the Mall of America in Bloomington. Sign up yourself and your mother or wife to take part in this inspiring event. You can sign up as individuals, join a team or put together your own team. An entry fee of $35 (as of 2011) per person will include a race bib, wristband, Susan G. Komen Twin Cities Race for the Cure t-shirt and refreshments during the race.
