Gift Basket Tips for Husbands
Putting together a gift basket for your husband might be difficult. Although women tend to love small trinkets, soaps, and other small items that lend themselves to baskets, your husband might be confused--or offended--if you give him a basket filled with soap. Instead, give him a manly gift basket he's sure to love.

Consider His Hobbies
-
Most men have at least one thing they like to do to relax, whether it's watching action movies or reading a good book. Maybe it's tinkering in the garage, or playing video games with his children. Put together a gift basket that encourages these hobbies, perhaps with books from his favorite author, a new movie, his favorite snack foods, and a certificate from you promising to keep the children out of his hair.
Send Him Away
-
Men need nights out with their friends just as much as women do. Send him out for a night on the town with a gift basket designed to let him have some fun with the guys. The basket might include poker money and a new deck of cards, tickets for a movie or bowling, and a gift certificate to his favorite steakhouse. Or, if he's a golfer, send him out during the day with a gift basket filled with a certificate good for 18 holes of golf, new golf club covers, tees, golf balls and a new golf glove.

Spice It Up
-
Turn on the romance with a gift basket meant to spice up your love life. Think about what turns your husband on, and fill the basket with those items. Perhaps he likes sexy lingerie, red wine, or board games made for couples. Fill a gift basket to the brim with items designed for a special night in--and then send the kids to Grandma's house.
Give Him Space
-
"Man Caves" might be all the rage, but most men simply don't have the room or money to create their own retreats. Put together a gift basket that will at least give him the impression that he is in control of his space. If he has his own car but it's filled with your stuff, clean out your items and then give him a "car kit" gift basket. The basket might include air freshener with a "manly" scent, a steering wheel cover, and CDs that match his taste. Or, give him a gift basket to make him feel more at home in the living room. Such a basket might include his own remote control (which no one else is allowed to touch) and a soft blanket for his leather recliner.
