When you are throwing a birthday party for a group of teenagers, it's a good idea to plan some games or activities. Giving the teens something to do during the party can help them lose any shyness they may have and keep the teens from being bored. Name That Tune

Let the teens play "Name that Tune" using local music. Take songs from artists and bands that are popular with the teenagers and play a few seconds of the beginning of the song. The teens should write on a piece of paper what they think the song was. The teen who has the most correct answers when you have played all of the songs wins a prize.
Picture Scavenger Hunt

Split the teens into teams and challenge them to a scavenger hunt. Give the teams a camera and a list of things they need to find. Most teens have either digital cameras or cell phones with cameras, so you could also use those with this game. Consider playing this game at a local park or in a shopping mall. Instruct the teens to find things like a yellow leaf, a man with a mustache, or a chocolate lab and take pictures of the found items.

Duct Tape Fashion Show

A duct tape fashion show is a great activity when you are throwing a party for a group of teenage girls. Divide the teens into groups of two or three and give each group several rolls of duct tape in different colors. Give the groups a set amount of time to create an outfit using the duct tape, which one group member wears over her own clothing. When the time is up, have a. fashion show and let some of the adults at the party judge which outfit is best.
Flashlight Tag

Play flashlight tag with a group of teens when you are throwing a party after dark. One teen is "it" and he has a flashlight. When he shines his light on another teen, that teen also gets a flashlight and starts tagging people also. The last teen to have a flashlight shined on him wins.
