Halloween Costumes That Have to Do With Magic Tricks
Magic and magic tricks go naturally with the spirit of Halloween. Magic enthusiasts can work their hobby into their Halloween costume by creating a magic-trick themed costume. Not only do these costumes make for a clever way to dress up for a Halloween, but will also give the wearer an opportunity to entertain friends and family with some magic tricks.

Classic Magician
-
The simplest way to incorporate magic tricks into a Halloween costume is to dress as a classic magician. Wear a tuxedo with tails, a cape and a top hat. The key to this costume is to carry all the appropriate accessories. Go to a magic shop and buy some novelty tricks such as a never-ending scarf, a rabbit and hat hand puppet and a flower that disappears into a magic wand. If you are skilled at performing magic tricks, bring them along to whatever Halloween event you are attending and perform for the guests.
Harry Houdini
-
Famous escape artist Harry Houdini died on Halloween, making him an ideal figure for a very spooky magic-related Halloween costume. To dress as Houdini, wear a classic, old-fashioned looking suit. Wear some white foundation to make your face look more pale and somber. Complete the look by wearing a strait jacket, a pair of handcuffs or some chains. While Houdini's tricks were far too dangerous for an amateur to perform, you can verse yourself on Houdini history and tell stories of his feats if any friends ask you about your costume.

Clowns
-
For a brighter and more light-hearted take on the magic theme, try dressing as a clown. Buy or make a brightly colored clown suit with a collar, a curly red wig and big floppy clown shoes. Paint your face white and add bright makeup around your eyes, cheeks and mouth.
To add in the magic trick element, buy some novelty tricks at a magic store; make sure you focus on a clown theme. Ideal accessories would include a droopy flower that squirts water, a hand buzzer or a never-ending scarf.
Harry Potter
-
For a more contemporary take on a magic costume, try "Harry Potter" or another character from the Harry Potter franchise of books and movies. Harry Potter costumes are readily available for purchase. You could also put one together by buying a school uniform, a cloak, a pair of round glasses and a striped Hogwarts scarf.
