How Do I Get My Daughter's Wedding Photos in Bride Magazine?

Getting your daughter's wedding photos featured in Bride Magazine is a dream come true for many mothers-of-the-bride. Unfortunately, competition to get these photos into the magazine is steep. Only approximately 20 couples are chosen each year, out of thousands of submissions, to be featured in the magazine. When choosing which submissions to accept, the editors of Bride Magazine look for things that stand out to them such as great photography, unusual ideas, and gorgeous locations.

  1. Photographs

    • Submit a wide variety of photographs from your daughter's wedding to Bride Magazine. These images should include specific details of her wedding reception, including the cake, table centerpieces, placecards, and flower arrangements. Also make sure to include photographs of the bridal party, your daughter and son-in-law, your daughter's dress, and any special family or religious traditions that occurred on your daughter's big day.

    Description

    • Include a description of the more unique aspects of your daughter's wedding day in your submission. Mention any unique ideas that were used to make her special day a success, that you think might be interesting and helpful for other brides to read about.

    Color Photographs

    • Make sure to include color photographs, as these are the only type accepted by Bride Magazine. You will not receive these back, so only send those that are duplicates.

    Submission Address

    • Send all submissions to "REAL WEDDINGS, BRIDES magazine, 4 Times Square, 8th floor, New York, NY 10036."
