Bridal Shower Games for a Classroom
Bridal showers are an opportunity for all the female members of the bride's closest family and friends to spend time together, wish her well with advice and embarrass her and one another with games. A bridal shower that takes place in a classroom is a unique venue. The space offers privacy from others and special features such as large tables and chalkboards. Decorate the classroom with balloons and streamers to make it even more fun.

Toilet Paper Wedding Dress
-
This game is a classic choice for bridal showers as it encourages participation from all the guests and the bride gets to judge her favorite creation. The guests are divided into groups of at least three. They are given two rolls of toilet paper and asked to choose one member to be the model. They have a limited time to create a wedding dress using only the toilet paper. The bride chooses the design she likes best and the group wins a prize. The classroom provides an interesting backdrop for this type of game as the tables or desks can be pushed together to form a runway. The models can strut their stuff for the bride as a personal fashion show.
Love Proverbs
-
The chalkboards can play a distinctive role in the bridal shower fun with this game. Write love proverbs on the boards in advance with the missing words indicated with a blank line. Over the course of the shower, the guests can be encouraged to go up and fill in a proverb with a funny or embarrassing ending for the bride's amusement. She can vote on the one she finds the most amusing and that person will come forward for a prize. A barrier can be put up as an option so no one else knows immediately who wrote which ending. The same can be done for the popular "How well do you know the bride?" game or mad libs. Ridiculous or true answers will both provide amusement for the shower. The bride must read them aloud for all to hear.

Memories
-
Another chalkboard game you can play involves memories of the guests and bride. Block off a section of the chalkboard. Ask guests to randomly go and write a memory of themselves and the bride on a piece of card stock. Have them hang the card with a piece of archival tape to the chalkboard. After everyone has had a turn, the bride will read each memory aloud and write the name of the person next to the memory in chalk. If she gets them all right, she gets to open her gifts. Afterward, remove the cards and place them in an album for her as a keepsake.
Dress the Bride
-
One of the classroom desks or tables can be used as a platform. The bride can climb atop the platform to be surrounded by her guests. Each guest must then give her something to wear, whether it be jewelry, scarves, clothing or items purchased for her as gifts such as lingerie and she must wear each item presented to her. At the end, she will be completely transformed with accessories and there will be great photographic opportunities for her to keep.
