Face painting is an activity that is done at children's parties as well as for specific holidays like Halloween. However, face painting is not just limited to these venues. Face painting with a cat theme is one idea for the competition. Choose from a wide variety of felines. For instance, one family member can paint the common house cat while another can paint his face as a tiger or a lion. To do a tiger, start off with clean sponge and white paint. Paint a white area around the mouth. Paint yellow around the eyes, chin and cheeks. Add orange around the outside of the face, blending it with yellow. With a paintbrush, paint white eyebrows.
