Barbizon school offers modeling and acting classes for children ages 4 and older. Classes include photo posing, runway trends and commercial acting. Barbizon also offers training in nutrition, skin care, and makeup application. Classes take place on weekends so they won't interfere with extracurricular activities.

John Casablancas

Located in Atlanta, John Casablancas offers classes in portfolio development, working with photographers, acting and the business side of modeling for males, females, teenagers and children. Classes meet once a week for three to six hours and take place in the evening after school or on weekends.

Jai's Elite Models

With locations in both Atlanta and Riverdale, this modeling school accepts children ages 7 and older. Aspiring students may apply to Jai's Elite Models by sending a head shot, body picture and measurements, including height and weight, and an essay of "why you want to be a model." Jai's Elite Models will then initiate contact if interested.

Premiere School of Self Improvement

Premiere offers a 20-week, 60-hour class that focuses on self-confidence, acting, and modeling for teens. Its children's program focuses on poise, voice lessons, dance and modeling. Premiere schools are located throughout the Atlanta area and are all approved by the Department of Education. Prospective students and parents may request information from the website.
