Table Decoration Ideas for Fall Weddings

When decorating fall wedding reception tables, celebrate the season. Create eye-catching table decor using warm, rich harvest hues and elements of nature, such as pine cones and autumn leaves. Save money by making your own centerpieces. Creating decor will also allow you to completely customize the look of the tables.

Pumpkins and Gourds

Put autumn's harvest to good use by enhancing reception tables with vibrant pumpkins and gourds. Cover the tables with cream-colored cloths to set off the colorful items. Set a mini pumpkin next to each guests' place-setting as a charming touch; write names on the pumpkins using a black marker to create rustic placeholders. For a casually elegant look, showcase green, orange and gold gourds in vintage glass cake stands with lids. Line the gourd-filled stands up and down the center of the table.

Rustic Candle Holder

Use long, shallow vintage wooden trough as a rustic candle holder. Set the trough in the center of a reception table and fill it with natural elements such as pine cones, vibrantly hued autumn leaves, and twigs of red and orange berries.
