Education Unlimited designs summer camps with an academic theme for children as young as fourth grade, but there are a number of programs for middle and high school. students. Camps focus on mastering public speaking, preparing for college and choosing a major. A number of college campuses hold Education Unlimited summer camps, Tufts University near Boston offers an intensive college admissions prep camp. The program at UCLA teaches campers the art of debate and persuasive speech.

SuperCamp provides a summer teen program designed to help students excel academically while learning essential life skills. A fall camp designed for students entering high school helps them adopt better study habits. Teens who graduate from the fall program will be allowed admission into the Leadership Training Team, which teaches tools for self-motivation and offers peer counseling instruction. SuperCamp has also created Quantum U, a summer camp for college students and students preparing for college. The sessions give campers tools for effective study and pointers on how to adjust to college life. Supercamp is conducted on several U.S. college campuses.

The intensive summer program near New York City also teaches students how to apply for college and how to transition from high school to university life. Camp counselors stress teamwork. A number of sports-related activities, such as boating and yoga, help balance the intensity of SAT studies.

AES is an American English Studies camp for teens whose second language is English. The Pennsylvania-based camp tests students for reading skills and ability to write and speak English before placing them in the correct program. A number of interactive English-speaking activities are part of the camp curriculum, including helping students engage in English small talk and role playing. When campers are not studying, they can enjoy lacrosse, tennis and soccer, as well as video games and Internet study programs.
