You can't get legally married in Nevada without a state-issued marriage license. Nevada has an instant-approval licensing process with no waiting period provided you have all the necessary documentation and the $60 fee. To speed things up, fill out your application online up to 60 days in advance at the Clark County, Nevada, Clerk's Office website (see Resources). Bring cash with you or pay the extra five dollars to cover the cost of a credit-card transaction. Provide proof of your name and age by choosing documents from the official list of identification requirements. You can pick up your license at an express window if you've filled out the online application in advance.
