AZ State Homeschooling Convention and Curriculum Fair

Arizona homeschoolers should try to attend a convention once a year. The Arizona state homeschooling convention and curriculum fair, will allow you to speak to curriculum providers, attend homeschooling seminars, speak to veteran homeschoolers, and get mentoring from experienced homeschoolers. This convention and curriculum fair is held every year in late July.
Home Education Network of Arizona (HENA)

HENA is an inclusive statewide membership-based homeschool organization with a diverse membership. There are no religious or political affiliations. Through the HENA website, you will have access to: legal requirements and testing; facts about homeschooling; curriculum information; and access to smaller support groups. The low-cost membership entitles you to homeschool discounts and identification for homeschooled children. Members receive discounts to HENA events, and can attend HENA Governing Board meetings.

Arizona Families for Home Education

AFHE is a non-profit educational corporation directed by a Christian Board that works to protect the rights of homeschooling families in Arizona. AFHE membership is open to all Arizona residents, and members have access to articles, homeschool forms such as the affidavit of intent to homeschool, links to local home-education websites, and access to standardized testing, including ACT and SAT. Members will also find local and more intimate homeschool groups to participate in.
HSLDA

While the Homeschool Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) encourages membership, you don't need to pay the $115 a year fee to take advantage of the resources the website has to offer. The Arizona homeschool page at HSLDA.org provides an explanation of Arizona homeschool laws; will help homeschoolers connect to groups and organizations in their area; and keep you abreast of laws and issues that affect homeschooling in Arizona. Should you decide to become a paid member, you will have access to homeschooling forms for your state, discounts to preferred homeschooling vendors, and legal help if you should need it.
