Ideas for a Lovers Scavenger Hunt
Relationships require that each partner work at keeping the romance fresh. The bond between the two of you is what will get you through the hard times. Creating lasting memories that the two of you share will strengthen the relationship from day to day. One way to create lasting memories is to plan interesting dates. One type of date sends your partner on a scavenger hunt.

Photo Scavenger Hunt
-
Throughout a relationship, you create a fair amount of memories. You can take pictures of places you have been together or use pictures that were taken of the two of you in a certain location and create a scavenger hunt. Create a list of clues which lead to various areas around town (without making the search too expansive). When your loved one arrives at the correct spot, they will find a picture representative of your time together there. If you use pictures of the two of you, make sure you don't use the only copy in case the weather compromises the quality.
Honeymoon in the Hometown
-
Create a scavenger hunt around the experiences you shared while you were on your honeymoon. The two of you can go on the scavenger hunt together to share the new experience in your hometown. For instance, if you went to the beach in Hawaii, had champagne under the stars and listened to ukulele music one evening, you can create a scavenger hunt around those events. Locate a beach at a lake, river or ocean, purchase a bottle of champagne and download ukulele music for your loved one. Give her clues which will allow her to guess the events of the evening. Do not reveal the next event until she has figured out the previous event.

Items from a Date or Series of Dates
-
If you and your loved one had an active date where you went to dinner at a certain restaurant, then went bowling and then went to the movies, you can create a scavenger hunt around the other person retrieving representations of those items. Leave clues for the other person about where those places are located. He must then retrieve a take-out menu or pricing sheet from each location to complete the scavenger hunt.
Weekend Away
-
Plan a scavenger hunt which prepares your loved one for a date. You might start off with a clue leading to a hair salon, followed by another clue leading to a nail salon. The next clue may lead your loved one to a department store where she must choose from one of three dresses. The next clue could lead to dinner reservations with you, followed by a clue to a show, and ultimately to a hotel to begin your weekend away. For a comprehensive scavenger hunt, keep the clues going for the entire weekend.
