Other programs that use the SCD file extension are Scribus, a document reader; Agfa/Matrix, a graphic program; and Microsoft Scheduler. The letters SCD are not an acronym for anything in particular.     • When created by TurboTax, an SCD file is part of the scheduler files in the program. TurboTax helps users prepare and file income taxes. The program can be quite comprehensive and is used by businesses and investors. The scheduler file is created to help remind users of deadlines and schedules. The SCD file extension stores the schedule for a particular file.

    Agfa/Matrix
