Bumble Bee Face Painting Designs For Children

Bumble Bee Face Painting Designs For Children thumbnail
Bumble bee face paint should include the basic bee colors of yellow and black.

Bumble bee characteristics consist of a yellow body with black stripes, a stinger, wings and two antennae. For bumble bee face-painting, incorporate these characteristics as much as possible.

  1. Design #1

    • Use yellow face paint to outline a medium size circle on each of your cheeks. Make sure your cheeks are clean and dry before applying face paint. Fill in the circle with the same yellow face paint. Use black paint to put three stripes inside each circle. Paint a black antennae from the inner edge of each eyebrow upward.

    Design #2

    • Cover your nose up to the point where your eyebrows start with bright yellow face paint to make the body of the bumble bee. Outline the body in black. Put two black dots near your eyebrows, on the yellow paint, to make the eyes. Insert two antennae coming out from the head of the bumble bee just above its eyes. Put black horizontal stripes on your nose. Start from the upper bridge of your nose just under the eyebrow and draw a wing. It should pass under your eyebrow, out around the outer corner of your eye and then under your eye back to the bridge of your nose by the inner eye corner. Do the same thing to your other eye.

    Design #3

    • Paint a yellow oval on your cheek and outline it in black to make a bumble bee body. Put two black dots inside the oval to make the bumble bee eyes. Using black paint, put an arc-shaped smile on the bee and two antennae coming out of the top of the head. Paint a top and bottom wing on both sides of the bumble bee with white paint and outline them in black. Put a small black line coming from the bottom of the bee to make a stinger.

    Design #4

    • Paint your entire face yellow with the exception of your forehead area. Put black horizontal lines approximately an inch thick running across your chin, the tip of your nose and your eyes. Paint two black antennae at the top of your forehead.
