Cliffdell, Washington Hotels
Cliffdell is a small town within the confines of the Snoqualmie National Park in central Washington state. The area around Cliffdell is rural and dominated by natural parks and forests. Mount Rainier is located about three hours drive away and Interstate 90 is about 10 miles to the north of Cliffdell. About 19 miles west of Cliffdell is the Crystal Mountain Ski Resort where several of the nearest hotels are located.

The Whistlin Jack Lodge is a genuine wood construction, country inn built in 1931 and located along the Naches River in Cliffdell, Washington. The lodge has been owned and operated by the Williams family since 1957 and is now coupled with the Fireside cafe and lounge where guests and visitors stop in to relax, and the Riverside casual restaurant where a selection of gourmet and local dishes are served. There are eight guest rooms at the lodge with full bathrooms, bay windows and access to the community hot tub and deck. There are also one- and two-bedroom cottages and bungalows at the lodge, each with its own unique design. The bungalows feature stone fireplace, queen-size bed, wet bar, large window, private deck and outdoor hot tub. Each cottage has all the same plus living room, full kitchen and dinette. As of February 2011, rates for a room start around $90, $180 for a bungalow, and $140 for cottages.

The Alpine Inn is designed after the chalets of southern Germany with a raw wood structure and a peaked roof, and is located in the Crystal Mountain complex about 19 miles west of Cliffdell. The Inn is set against a mountainous backdrop and surrounded by tall pines. The Bavarian theme is continued into the cozy "Snorting Elk" lounge where guests can relax in front of a large fireplace and sample the hearty cuisine. The hotel also features a high-tech ski and snow board shop, a casual dining restaurant and free Wi-Fi throughout. The guest rooms are furnished with beds, dressers, windows, lamps and free Wi-Fi. The Quicksilver Lodge is an all-loft hotel in Crystal Mountain complex about 19 miles to the west of Cliffdell. The hotel occupies a two-story wood and stucco structure in a wooded setting and features a large fireplace and sitting area in the lobby, and access to dining and lounges in the nearby Alpine Inn. The hotel is marketed as an accommodation solution for families who require more than room for two adults. The guest rooms are all in loft style, which means they are two levels with living room at the bottom and bedrooms above. Each is equipped with large flat-screen TV, couch, refrigerator, coffeemaker, carpeted floors, windows onto the forest and unique design features like sloped ceilings and exposed plumbing. The Village Inn is located within the Crystal Mountain Ski Resort Complex about 19 miles west of Cliffdell. The Inn occupies a large wooden building with large balconies reminiscent of the multiple-floored lodges you might find in Colorado or Utah. The building is within easy walking distance of all the Crystal Mountain points of interest including the ski lifts and dining options. The guest rooms are designed for convenience and each features refrigerator, coffeemaker, TV and DVD player. Rates for a Village Inn Queen with Balcony start around $170, as of January 2011.

The Comfort Suites Yakima is located about 35.5 miles southeast of Cliffdell along Route 12. Yakima, Washington is more developed than Cliffdell but still provides easy access to the forest and ski slopes. The hotel occupies a white building with peaked roofs and a large free parking lot. The Comfort Suites has several standout features including a heated indoor swimming pool, exercise room, whirlpool, guest laundry, meeting rooms, free daily newspaper and free continental breakfast. The guest rooms have plain white walls, carpeting, large windows, SAT TV, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, coffeemaker, microwave and refrigerator. Some have in-room Jacuzzi.
