Stargazer Lilies
-
The stargazer lily is known for its vibrantly colored petals and brown dots. A stargazer comes in a variety of colors, ranging from bright pink to pale yellow to plain white. On average, a stargazer lily is about 4 inches in width and can be found as big as 6 inches. When using a stargazer lily in a wedding bouquet, it is usually best to use two to three and fill the remaining space with smaller flowers. Some good filler flowers to use in a wedding bouquet would be white or pink roses and soft white calla lilies. Fill space between the flowers with greenery such as calla lily leaves, baby's breath and ferns. When using a stargazer lily in a bouquet, remember that it is the centerpiece. Therefore, you want to select flowers that accent the same colors the stargazer lily does, but that are not larger or take away from the sight of the centerpiece flower.
Calla Lily
-
The calla lily is a clean- and fresh-looking flower. It holds a simple fluted design that is both beautiful and elegant. Calla lilies can be very versatile when it comes to colors, but most bridal bouquets will use white calla lilies. Other colors calla lilies can be found in are deep reds, bright pinks, vibrant oranges, violets and yellows. Many florists can paint calla lilies to match a particular color you are seeking out if that color is not in season. A classic way to use calla lilies in a wedding bouquet can be as simple as tying 10 to 12 calla lilies of the same color together in a loose bouquet for a very simple and elegant finish. Calla lilies can also be paired in bouquets that showcase filler flowers such as green or pink roses, lavender agapanthus, pink or white carnations and bright pink daisies. Use green roses and carnations as greenery fillers rather than actual leaves for a springtime finish.

White Lily
-
White lilies are a flower that is typically best paired with spring-colored or plain white roses. One of the more popular styles of white lilies used in spring wedding bouquets is the trumpet lily. The trumpet lily has six petals that come in a variety of colors that range from whites to ivories to bright and vibrant colors. Another white lily variety that pairs well with wedding bouquets is the Asiatic style lily. This type of lily is less trumpet-shaped and more open, but also very fragrant. No matter what type of white lily is used in the wedding bouquet, it should be the star of the arrangement -- roses, greenery and other filler flowers should provide accent colors and never be larger than the star flower. You want everyone to immediately pick out the lily from the wedding bouquet when they first lay their eyes on it.
Lily of the Valley
-
The lily of the valley is known for its bell-shaped body and thick stalk. Each bundle will contain up to 10 tiny blossoms. A healthy bunch of lily of the valley will have greens at the base of the petals and stalks and slowly flow into their classic white color. When lily of the valley are used in a wedding bouquet, they will emit a distinct floral aroma. An elegant wedding bouquet can use more than 60 lily of the valley pieces and surround them with white, green or pink roses. To make the lily of the valley the star in a bouquet, use up to 100 bulbs and fill space with large lily of the valley leaves. Lily of the valley can easily be used as filler flower for calla lily bouquets, sweet pea bouquets and even as a filler in springtime peony bouquets.
