Phoenix, which is part of Maricopa County, is a large city in central and northeastern Arizona. Phoenix features several goth dance clubs, including the Tranzylvania dance club, the Black Coffee dance club, the Palazzo dance club and the Sanctum dance club. Goth is a modern subgroup or culture of people within the "goth scene" who's clothing tends to be dark in color and the culture's taste in music often includes particular styles, such as darkwave, goth rock and neoclassical music. Tranzylvania

There is a wide range of old and new music at the Tranzylvania dance club, including goth music, industrial music, EBM music and harsh electro music. The Tranzylvania dance club features a large dance floor under a high ceiling, a large patio in the back and an upstairs VIP section. There is no dress policy at Tranzylvania, which means guests will not be turned away due to what they are wearing. All guests must be at least 21 years old. The Tranzylvania dance club is located in North Central Phoenix near downtown.
Black Coffee

Black Coffee is a Goth-centric dance club that plays gothic music, darkwave, 1980s music and EBM music. It is a free open-door and walk-in club that allows people of all ages to come inside. Guests are encouraged to dress in goth fashion, but it is not a requirement. Aside from being a dance club, the Black Coffee is a coffee shop, which sells espressos, coffees and sodas. Black Coffee sits on 24th Street, near Brill and McDowell.

The Palazzo dance club plays Gothic music, industrial music, synthpop, and electronic music. Every Friday night, Palazzo transforms into an industrial scene and gothic dance club. The Palazzo dance club features two full bars, a back patio, a balcony that overlooks the dance floor and a Midnight erotic black-light show. Palazzo is located on Central Avenue, right across the street from the Phoenix Public Market.
Sanctum

The types of music played at the Sanctum dance club includes Latin music, hip-hop music, electronic music and pop music. The Sanctum dance club features a bar that sells alcoholic drinks and a public lounging room for guests who want to relax. Bands occasionally play live music inside the Sanctum dance club. Club Sanctum is located on North 7th Avenue, across the street from the Blueberry Deluxe Boutique and Hennesy Equipment Sales.
