Haunted Places to Go in Northwest Indiana
There are reports of hauntings throughout the state of Indiana, and Northwest Indiana is no exception. Paranormal researchers are taking note of each report. It seems just about every city and town experiences some sort of haunting in a house, business or other area. Ghost hunters, novice and professional, have reported haunting at several locations in Northwest Indiana.

An old abandoned windmill in rural Indiana. This site is where a boy's school once stood. The school has been torn down and the land made available for sale. There are reports of child apparitions playing, children's cries, children's screams and orbs following people. The children were said to be murdered by the pastor running the school, but many believe the whole story is local folklore.
La Porte Cinema

La Porte Cinema is reported as a haunted location in NW Indiana. The cinema is reported to be haunted by a young girl. Details about the cause of her death are uncertain. Her reflection shows up on floor tiles in one room of the theater. Research indicates she died on the scene, but the cause of death is under debate.

Porter City Ghost House

Many report seeing ghosts at a house in Porter City, Indiana. Reports of an old woman and young boy, said to be mother and son, have been made by visitors to the Porter City Ghost House. Witnesses claim to have seen the two of them looking out windows of the house.
Westville: Gravity Hill

Reflection of State Capitol Building in Indianapolis, Indiana. This location is said to be where a train hit a school bus full of children. Reports indicate drivers can stop on the hill, put their car in neutral and that the child apparitions will push the vehicle up the hill toward where the tracks once were.
