Cheap Boarding Schools for Eighth Graders
Boarding schools may provide a way for your child to become more independent, while placing them in an environment that will encourage their academic success. Most boarding schools are year-round and thus can be an expensive route to take for your child's education. As of 2011, boarding school tuitions averaged $40,000 or more for yearly tuition. However, with a bit of research you may find several schools that meet your needs that are priced in the $20,000 range. Inquire at the school about financial assistance; because most boarding schools include academics, they qualify for educational loans such as PrepGATE or SallieMae.
